A classic for the ages and the best thing Tim Burton has done to date. An amazing tale running the gamut from dark humor through to creepy mystery and realised terror.
I first saw this in a DVD room (private cinema rented for as long as a movie lasts) in Korea. Really - all I wanted was a place to take a nap and this didn't do enough to keep me awake.
Sacha Cohen has made a career playing to clown and filming people's reactions - and he brings the act to America and a bigger screen. A pastiche of set ups and provovations - with a very unfortunate nude scene.
The oft quoted classic of 70s comedy movies and the introduction to Monty Python for a new gneration. Hysterically absurd and adored by dorks of all ages. Consider me amongst them.
Well liked - and I see no reason to disagree. A little bit by the numbers, but still done well enough that all can be forgiven.
