Richard's Review of Exam
The set up is very similar to films we've seen before such as Cube and Fermat's Room, where we find a group of strangers trapped in a room and they're set puzzles to solve which could lead to life or death. However, despite the similar concept there was still something quite refreshing about this one. It was quite clever and you really have to be paying attention to solve the puzzle yourself before the characters do. It's like one of those logic puzzles you find on the puzzle pages in newspapers, the one's where you kick yourself when you discover the answer. The acting is a little ropey in places and the film does not really explore the sci-fi back drop in which it is set but it's still an enjoyable 85min puzzle to solve.
