Camp and colourful big screen debut for everyone's favourite timelord - although this version has little to do with the TV version. It's okay in a sort of Saturday morning matinee way, but otherwise has not aged well at all - and the Dalek's seem even more cumbersome than ever!
Biopic of Spitfire inventor R J Mitchell told as wartime propaganda. Howard headlines, but David Niven steals the film as close friend and pilot Geoff Crisp. Patriotic stuff!
A forgettable film, poorly acted by all concerned with Rita Hayworth far from her screen-siren best.
Great Wushu action - if a little too heavy on the wire-work. Love the feel of these period martial arts stories - great action set-pieces and even a little comedy. Be sure to watch the original lanugage version and not the dubbed effort.
A poor Chuck Norris film (ahem!!!) with a completely ridiculous plot. Even the martial arts choreography is lackustre - but for me it's just that Chuck is just not Chuck enough in this one.
