Yet another super-assassin gone wild movie ... Think of it as Denzel Washington's "Man on Fire" crossed with "Leon" with a heavy dose of Korean melodrama. Worth watching only if you've got nothing else to watch and you're itching for an action movie.
The idea seems good: cop who played dirty is matched-up against a dirty prosecutor and they dig out dirt on each other and things escalate. In real life, however, even if we discount the bad pacing, the story just didn't work out too well. Not to mention a distinct lack of focus.
As is always the case with movies like this, yes, there are plot holes, but who the hell cares? Based on the board game Clue (Cluedo outside of the US), this movie took a comedic approach and managed to blend together all the stereotypical aspects of a trapped/murder in a mansion genre and produce something entirely original. Must watch for: sexy French maid, multiple twist ending, and Tim Curry (not that the rest of the cast weren't great--they were!).
