Before all you realist go and ruin this movie by saying things like "it was soo fake" and "as if he could survive on Mars like that", I'd like to say it was a pretty good movie.
It has suspense, action, humour, a quality believable storyline, and a decent cast. Are there holes in the story? Hmmmm, to be honest i don't care because i enjoyed the ride.
Enjoyable but a little cluttered. There was so much going on that it was a little hard to keep track of the story. Loads of action, with some great CGI. My main issue with the fillum, is the poxy romance between Shia Labeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It was unneccesary and detracted from the movie. It is a better movie than the second installment, however there are new bots that are unfamiliar to the original cartoon series and thus made it harder to relate it to the cartoon. Example, where the 'truck-stop' is 'Hot Rod'!? Also, at the end, Optimus can't beat 'Centinal' but 'Mega Tron' can, but Optimus can beat 'Mega Tron'... WTF!
All-in-all, in their effort to make a big block buster they have managed to Alienate the original fans of the Cartoon series Transformers ...
Slow and painful. The whole time i was jus wanting the movie to hurry the 'foo bard-up'. The best bit of the movie is in the last 30 minutes but that simply does not make the movie. There was too much character development and not enough substance to the whole movie. All-in-all i felt this movie was a complete waste of my time and money.
Not as action-packes as the others, yet i think i liked it more than the others. It had a pretty cool storyline/plot, but it did seem to drag a little. All-in-all it was a good installment. Better than most 4th installments of movies and that is where this movie holds its own. It stays within its boundaries has fun and still leaves enough intrigue for you to come back and watch another.
Visually this is a very good movie. However that aside it isn't very good. My main issue with this movie is the use of the speech being dubed througout the movie. It would have been better to have subtitles. The story is okay, but it also tended to drag alone. I was always wanting more to happen.
The acting was quite good. However, the plot was quite restricting and convoluted and it was hard to keep up with what was going on due to the slowness of the movie. Also the ending was another nail in the coffin for me. All in all there was no substance to this movie.
