The actors are good, the story was awewome, but the film doesn't know what it wants to be. A movie about the hijacking and rescue effort or humanising the terrorists to show both sides of the coin? It was an opportunity for the director to make an awesome movie from a crazy rescue, like a heist movie, unfortunately, he missed it.
This was a fun movie, had some really good scare-thrill like scenes that worked for me. A good addition to The Conjuring saga.
I honestly don't see what all the hype is about. It's an average horror movie that resorts to the cheap-scare-thrill formula to excite the audience to cover for the shoddy screenwriting and bad acting.
An entertaining story with heart, humour and action. I didn't like how cartoony the foreign wrestlers were portrayed, to me it was overkill. The cast trained for a year and it shows in all the wrestling sequences. The commitment from the cast truly shows and the best part of this tale, is that it's based on a true story, bringing with it a strong and very relevant message.
