I remember seeing this movie at the cinema and enjoying it a lot, even if the person I saw it with wasn't so impressed. Because of the many interesting twists and turns which the movie takes I was unsure how I would feel about it once I rewatched it, would it have lost it's appeal knowing what was actually going on etc? Well, I have to say I have just rewatched it and feel quite exhilarated. The movie has lost none of the tension or the edge of the seat drama about it. It's a thriller yes, but one without car chases or guns, this is a thriller about matters of the heart, about love and about obssession. The performances are amazing, especially Rose Bryne, the filming technique is original and adds so much to the whole experience and the soundtrack is spot on. If you haven't seen this movie you simply MUST!
Loved this movie from the first time I saw it about a decade ago, watched it again recently and was still caught up in the ideas and the characters as they move around the globe chasing each other and ultimately finding their dreams (quite literally). Shame it isn't available in it's full version of three seperate movies though.
Utter awfulness. The idea is okay and may have worked if it had had better writing and pacing and direction but unfortunately the whole thing is just dreadful. Shame really as some of the performances are pretty good but you just feel bad for the actors having to be in this damn thing.
