A breathtaking SCI-FI flick that surpasses the prior reboot film and keeps running. Breathtaking visuals, iconic moments of its own. It's my movie of the summer thus far.
The rap shockingly works well and I thought it was wonderfully choreographed and captured the essence of the novel I hated to read during high school. Watch it old sport, you won't regret it
Honestly as a fan of the comics it's hard to take how the Mandarin was handled and be happy, regardless, this film focused more on tony running around out of his suit, than in it. It's getting tiring of seeing Stark fight some genius in a suit, especially when he has a gallery of rogues in the comics that are colorful and fun
It's not a movie that you'll ever associate with John Carpenters legacy.. It's a period piece, and for some reason, I had to keep reminding myself of that. It seemed to rely more on a weak monster, and a few twists and turns that seemed more lackluster than mind blowing, and I didn't see them coming. It's dull, bland, and I wonder if it was a period piece simply due to the budget.
One of my favorite westerns.
