Darn it!!! I love this movie and that boy TONG (yes that is sooooo his name and he had a gf by the name of DONUT!!!!! I am soooooo not kidding!!) is such a freaking HOTTIE LAH!!!! I don't like the ending (just because the gay part of me wants the typical fairytale ending) but the whole movie was thoroughly enjoyable!!!Mario Maurer is such a hot twinky as Tong that eveytime he blinks his eyes I just went weak in the knees...
chloe moretz stole the show. period.
Vapid it is not. You will be drawn into this movie with it's myriad of characters...it is worth a watch.
It's a heartrending film. But I don't like how it differs from the book with the ending and esp...the character of Kirsten Stewart...why did they even bother creating a character that didn't even existed in the book? And yes she is still the same as all her previous acting...total vapidness. And if they had cut out her scenes...it wouldn't have affected the film at all.
Why do people even compare this to Harry Potter is beyond me. It's totally different than Harry Potter. It's NOT Harry Potter meets Clash of the Titans at all, for one thing there are no WITCHES or WIZARDS or POTION MAKING or FLYING BROOMSTICKS for goodness sake! The Harry Potter film adaptations stayed as close as it could to the book, Percy Jackson & the Olympians however seemed to have been modified way off course from the book. But all in all it was an okay kind of film.
