Great film, from the HBO series. Andrew Haigh is one of my favourite directors.
Bleak and depressing. But beautiful northern Russian scenery.
Thoughtful film. Worth seeing.
Wow. Edge is seat stuff
An incredible film. Tells his story so well. Lots of stuff I didn't know (including about the complex character/role of Winnie), and lots of evocative memories of anti-apartheid which was so much part of the times when I was growing up. What a man.
Sugar-coated dreadfulness. And in Scotland too. How do I give it a minus score?
It gets five stars simply for having the lovely Caspar in it.
Really good Woody Allen film. (Yes, really.). Cate Blanchett acts her socks off.
The only thing appealing about this film is the rather beautiful Ryan Gosling. For that alone it gets a one star.
A lively debate on social democracy ensued.
Really very good. Entertaining, warm, and also sad. We've come a long way in a short time.
Weird weird weird. But also rather good.
Very scary movie. Very moving though.
Quite good, but the projector broke down so we missed the end. Oh well.
Good film. Very French.
Wow. Powerful film about Palestinian resistance. See it if you can. Very moving.
