This was a film about nothing really besides a couple trying to sell a house. It reeked of a stage play and seemed to have something to say about a relationship between a white woman and a black man which it did unconvincely through flashbacks. Keaton was lovely as was Freeman bit Nixon over acted her socks off
Rubbish trash with a great perfromance by Guy Pearce which lifts up from a D List film to a B minus!! Maggie Grace is a little wet but overall its a fun ride
An absolute delight from start to finish. Streep excels as usual. Hugh Grant has never been better and Simon Helberg is sensational. She cant sing but she surely has a heart of gold. The true story of Florence who was a socialite who couldn't sing but aimed to get to Carnegie Hall
A highly original film about a band who play at a neo Nazi gig and become embrollied in a murder. They then get locked in a room and find desperate ways to escape. Yelchin, Stewart and Poots are standout here and the balance of comedy and gore is spot on
Original and way better than the usual trashy b movie horror. A family move to a remote forest where the husband starts to upset the ground. From here on in it moves in pagan bizarreness with great effect.
This was rather amazing. Jake is getting better and better and choosing some rather unusual roles. Watts and the kid that plays her son are also excellent and so is Cooper. A man loses his wife and he searches to find the right track to get his life sorted.
A very odd biopic about Miles Davies BUT I felt like I learnt nothing. Overall I did enjoy it and liked Cheadle and Mcgregor. Its often flat and even the music doesn't ring true but I stuck with it till the end
Cheap as chips but overall it was very effective and had some good acting from Reid and Ross.
Kind of odd but also kid of good in a bad way. Pegg was good, Beckinsdale was bland. The SFX were spot on. Some of the comedy was kinda crude rude and vile and then sometimes it veered into kiddy territory. It didn't know what it wanted to be
A really well made and interesting throwback to the sci-fi films of the 80s like close encounters. Shannon excels in the role of a dad with a child who has unusual powers. Fleeing from a cult the film takes us on a journey to an interesting end
A fascinating insight into the world of Scott and his transition to head of creative for Moschino, he comes across well and there is many a cameo to spot in this
Not as bad as the critics said. But there was a germ of a good idea here wasted and when not wasted badly handled. A lot of racial sterotyping etc. When Adam Sandlers characters works out he can change into the person whose shoes he is fixing they don't know what to do. He steals things? Gets involved with bad types etc
With the added addition of Ferguson this happens to be on of the best Mission films. She was sassy and good without becoming a token female in an action film. The stunts weren't as stunning as past films but its still excellent entertainment
This wasn't glowing with good reviews but its ok. Neither horror or drama It sits somewhere in between. Its interesting enough to watch with Radcliffe adding another odd role to his post Potter career.
Assumed this may suck bad but its thoroughly watchable and actually funny in parts. Ferrall is Ferrall and Walburg is Walburg but the set up scenes as they try to out do each other are funny
Bad reviews but actually this is a real blast. Nice to see Weetherspoon doing comedy again and her relationship with Sophia is spot on. Not Oscar worthy but a lot of fun, reminded me of a Bette Midler vehicle in the 80s
Would have been better as an art film rather than what this ends up as. Robbie is great and her relationship with Ejofar is great, when Pine appears its goes a little awry. So so
Scathing reviews but watched in the IMAX this was good. I liked it was more Superman than Batman but Affleck really makes the most of Batman and he is ever so different from Bale. Wonderwoman is a fleeing glimpse and she seems interesting for future films. The standout of the film is Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor he sizzles in every scene
Kinda based on a true of dog in the outback of Australia. Its well made, cute and intriguing. Its touching
Never seen the original but this was superb. Roberts in one of her best roles ever. Its twisty, turns itself upside down and its excellant
