A worthy addition to the franchise.
Thouroughly enjoyable fair. Whilst the film lacks the general 'torture porn' scenes seen in previous films the film makes up for throwing you completely off track and hitting you with a cool plot twist.
I'll never have a bad word to say about the Saw Franchise, so I'm particularly biased.
A horror film with a difference. We're not looking at a film that depends on Blood and Gore to shock us, what we see is a film that plays with us in the deeper depths if the mind. Finely acted, slow burning, mind masher.
Look out for a technical trick adopted towards the last 15-20 minutes of the film. A trick that added tension to the whole finale.
Holy Shit!! What an incredibly fun ride this one is. A film that goes back old school with some fantastic practical effects, borrowing from The Thing, The Fly and I'd even go so far as to say The Evil Dead, a blood oozing, splattered minor horror cult classic (to be).
In the same vein as THE RAID movies, this epic display of martial arts, ultra violence and incredible choreography will keep you entertained from start to finish.
