Michael Mann returns to cops and robbers. Fast-paced throughout the full nearly 2,5 hours, and I liked the authenticity. But Mann never tries to explain what made Dillinger tick. The iconic Dillinger, well potrayed as always by Johnny Depp, remains a mystery so we never care much about him. And the man who is tracking him down, not so well potrayed by the limited Christian Bale, is even more thinly written. This depiction of the final months of one of the most infamous criminals in American history is still worth watching.
You could do worse than spend two hours on this political journalistic thriller. Not original, but cleverly constructed and with several good actors in the cast.
Different from the first three Terminator movies, but they probably had to enter new territory if they wanted to make a fourth (and fifth and sixth and...?) Terminator feature. It is not bad, but you cannot help being disappointed when you unavoidably compare it to it´s predecessors, especially the first two.
Decent creature horror B-movie. Not original in any way, but made by an ok director and with a better cast than usual in these sort of films. See it, if you enjoy the genre. Stay away, if you do not.
I always anticipate anything new from the Star Trek universe with great excitement, and I was not disappointed this time. Great special effects. I prefer TNG and my favourite villains are The Borgs, but fun to watch how Captain James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock, Doctor McCoy and the others met each other There are some redundant comical scenes, but this is a must-see for all Trekkies. You should see something else if you do not care much for Star Trek, though.
