"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is a fantasy story where back in time the great wizard master himself Merlin trained three powerful sorcerer's; Balthazar, (Nicolas Cage) Maxim, (Alfred Molina) and Veronica, (Monica Bellucci) to defeat their worst enemy Morgana, (Alice Krige) before she cast's the most powerful spell of all time called "The Rising". As they were trying to stop Morgana, Maxim betrayed Merlin cause of Veronica's love for Balthazar. As Balthazar was facing up against Morgana and cast a spell on her and Maxim, he tries to trap them in two separate jars called the grindor which he accomplishes doing, but somehow accidentally traps is one true love in another jar as well that he regrets for the rest of his days. Many years later in the great city of New York City a senior in college named Dave, (Jay Baruchel) runs downtown by a mistake and runs into Balthazar owner of an antique shop that gives him the choice for him to be his teacher and to follow 3 steps to become a important sorcerer. Dave makes a terrible mistake by releasing the arch-nemesis Maxim from his prison accidentally. Now, since Maxim is out he is looking foward to revenge on Balthazar by searching for the grindor jar of Morgana. Its Balthazar's and Dave's job to make sure he doesn't get his hand on Morgana's grindor. If he does he will release Morgana and she will be able to finally cast "The Rising" once more and bring the dead back to life from Haites and take over mankind.
Okay, i don't go much for disney films ever so often, but ill tell you i throughly enjoyed the heck out of this one. It almost had everything i wanted out of it. The only thing that through me off was the romance and chemistry between Dave and Becky. Thats the reason i didn't use that genre in my plot i wrote above. Eventhough, it had a little of that going on it didn't really bother me one bit cause it mostly focused on Balthazar's teaching's as Maxim interupts them almost throughout. This is just me but i thought this was highly entertaining for some particular reason. The whole story was very interesting. Probably the most entertaining story i've ever listen to. It just sucked me in and never let go. I absolutely fell in love with the special effects. I know films earlier this year used CGI in half of them and didn't amuse me or much of anyone one else or hope not. But the CGI they used in this was fantastic. Just like they were in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time"; which was another film of disney's i loved watching. So yea this is the 2nd best film of disney that i recommend to all that wants to sit back and enjoy their-selves watching this magical display of creativity. When i first watched the trailer i just knew this was going to be just as entertaining as expected it to be since after seeing "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and noticing that this was also a (Jerry Bruckheimer) production. All of his films are highly entertaining and fun to experience. I never could get into director, (Jon Turteltaub) recent films; such as the National Treasure Trilogy. Their were something about them that didn't intrest me so i didn't look foward to watching the rest of what had going for them. I'll definetly be ordering this on blu ray cause the sound effects was so good its hard to describe. I just hope it gets 5 stars on the audio. Im really hoping it gets at least a 4 or 4 1/2 or possibly a 5 with a perfect picture; which be great since i only watched this online.

The one main thing that made this that entertaining was (Nicolas Cage). Man! that actor is a legend at acting now. He was surprisingly outstanding. He really brought his character to life and showed me that if wizardry really existed in reality, he would be the perfect wizard. He just took this so serious, he was definetly that great in it. Im dieing to see what character he's going to bring to life next. If they make a sequel of this they better bring Cage back. If they don't..i will be so disappointed cause i won't be checking it out. This is the first film ive actually seen (Jay Baruchel) act in and i didn't think he was too bad. All i can say is that he really enjoys himself on screen. Their were a few parts that he made me laugh in with his sense of humor jokes. Eventhough i heard he plays a nerdy character in all his films, it really doesn't bother me all that much. Anyways, he definetly made the comedy in this but im glad he did cause it made me have more fun watching it. I might check out more of his films such as; "She's Out of My League" cause i heard its a really funny flick and he does well in it as well.
<div style="width:640px;"><a href="http://www.flixster.com/photos/teresa-palmer-the-sorcerers-apprentice-2009-becky-barnes-13715970"><img src="http://content8.flixster.com/photo/13/71/59/13715970_gal.jpg" border="0"/></a><div style="text-align:center;font-size:10px;"><a href="http://www.flixster.com">Flixster</a> - Share Movies</div></div>
This is also the first time ive actually seen (Teresa Palmer) act. She plays Becky whom is Dave's love intrest. I think she is a very talented young girl; especially having a gift of speaking english when she is an austrailian actress. That was very shocking. I mean her english is superb from being born from another country. That just absolutely amazes me to see coming from her. Yes, i really do think she is sexy cause of her beautiful looks and sweet personality. I do anything to date or possibly marry her. Thats the kind of personality i've been looking from a girl. Whatever guy so happens to marry her one day, will be a lucky one. Anyways, i wouldn't mind at all to check out recent or upcoming films that she stars in. I have a feeling she is gonna be huge in the future with her career.
It wasn't quite surprising to see (Alfred Molina) back in disney. I had a feeling he would be back and thats not a bad thing either. I like watching his roles. He's a very talented actor that also likes to play serious characters. I can't think of him to be a bad actor for a second. He really does a good job entertaining audiences. Good to see him again and hopefully see him in another disney film or other one. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a special appearence in "Tron: Legay" even though you don't see him in the trailer or see him star as one of the main characters in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean; which im hoping will be a whole lot better, more entertaining and fun to watch then the recent two.
It was definetly great to see (Monica Bellucci) on screen again looking sexy as ever. I just find her as a very gorgeous and beautiful actress. I enjoyed watching her character. Just wish i got to see her more. You only get to see her and the beginning and end. Eventhough you get to see her less often i could tell right away that her acting as really improved since her latest action film; "Shoot Em Up". It was the best ive seen her act. I thought she did a marvelous job with her part. I hope she doesn't lose it. If she keeps that up she can really improve her actress career in her near future. Can't wait to see her sexy self in another serious role. I'll be waiting Monica.

"IT'S THE COOLEST JOB EVER"
4 1/2 stars
Just got back from seeing one of the best films this year; which was "The Town". It was so awesome; whixh was shocking and unexpected for me. I just wasn't feeling this film at all since it was the first time seeing a film directed by Ben Affleck himself. I said to myself maybe i should watch "Gone baby Gone" before seeing "The Town". I was so worried that was was going to turn out very bad, but surprisingly it turned out just as i was expecting out of a cops and robbers flick. Every minute was filled with nonstop entertainment that pulled you right into what was all going on in Boston. I mean it actually seemed that you were inside of the film itslef which i found very cool like you are riding a fun rollercoaster ride. I just absolutely love films that have this and that was definetly one that ill always remember and love the rest of my life. Its so unforgettable. Yes i admit i am an action lover for sure but along with the highly entertainment that brings to you it just makes t more enjoyable to watch. it just doesn't feel like letting you go. It just keeps taking you further into the crime. It seems that you are right beside of Doug, McGray played by Ben Affleck, trying to handle and getting out of situations that could put you to jail for life or possibly end up dead It has the most epic action/expolsive shooting scenes ive ever experienced on screen. The action isn't throughout but when it start up it is loud and effective. I absolutely loved the sounds of the guns i just wanted to shoot one of the bank robbers assult rifles. Not at cops. lol but just to shoot them at a place where no one is around but me. haha Thats also another thing i liked about the film cause of the realism it had going on in the scenes. It might not be based on a true actual story or inspired on true events, but these things can happen in reality. I kid you not...So yea it rocked! Ben Affleck can definetly direct. Best director ever! Can't wait to hear and see what film he directs next. Im sure it will be just as epic as "The Town".

just got back from seeing piranha and the 3d was almost perfect. The most fun i've had at the cinema in a long time.
<div style="width:550px;"><a href="http://www.flixster.com/photos/piranha-3-d-2009-piranha-11878992"><img src="http://content6.flixster.com/photo/11/87/89/11878992_gal.jpg" border="0"/></a><div style="text-align:center;font-size:10px;"><a href="http://www.flixster.com">Flixster</a> - Share Movies</div></div>
This is what summer horror films is all about. It was very bloody when the piranha's hit and was very gory at the spring break party. That scene itself just made me want to puke. It was very disgusting of all the disturbing piranha attack imagery that i experienced. Anyways, i enjoyed the heck out of it cause it was insanely entertaining throughout. This film would of been the perfect horror-fest if it didn't throw all of that sex play and nudity in. I mean that was practically throughout the film for the most part. I know im a guy and it attracts us when we see girls naked on screen, but come one we don't need that much nudity in this. I was hoping to see piranha's attacking and just a lil bit of nudity. But it sure didn't go my route. Thats for sure. But it was still good for what it was. I'd give it that.

Yes, this is the first time that ive actually got to see three pornstars; such as the hot and sexy (Gianna Michaels) (Ashlynn Brooke) and (Kelly Brooke) that im familar of starring in this world-wide release. I do anything to star right beside of them cause all three of them are one of the sexiest girls ive ever seen that has a really nice body. Im not as familar with (Kelly Brook) all that much. This is actually the first time ive actually heard of her. After watching the film and when i got home i decided to do a little research to see exactly who she was cause i thought she looked kind of familar in a way. But i was shocked that she was a famous pornstar. I had no clue she was in that position. How on earth did i miss her. Hmmm....strange thats all i can say. But really if i had to pick between those three girls i'd have to say (Gianna Micheals). Because she likes to have more fun in public and will do anything to succeed when it comes to getting lots of attention. Like i said before this film had me going and liking it more all the way until the nudity came to the genre. But i'll just forget about that next time i watch it and try not to let it get in the way of watching the piranha's history and their vicious epic attacks. It had a pretty good cast besides the pornstars i named earlier. Such as; (Elisabeth Shue) (Ving Rhames) (Christopher Lloyd) (Jerry O'Connel) (Adam Scott) and (Richard Dreyfuss) which was quiet surprising cause as i was watching the opening scene it was like i was watching "JAWS". I just thought that was kind of awkward seeing. Its been a while since Ive seen (Elisabeth Shue) in a film lately. I guess she decided not to act much these days. Well if she's modeling instead of doing something else she needs to get her butt back to her career on acting cause she still has what it takes to be a successfull actress. I also enjoy watching her on screen; especially taking a role as a attractive town sheriff. Man! If this was reality she can pull me over and give me a ticket anytime. She looked absolutely stunning in that uniform. Let me tell you...oh man! Thats one hot babe.
(Ving Rhames) plays Shue's partner as the bad-ass sheriff that will do whatever it takes to take care of the piranha situation; which i liked from his character. He was really brave and had lots courage in his part. That was exactly how i wanted his character to turn out cause he is a huge dude and looks like someone you don't wanna mess with. Hoping to see more of him in upcoming horror films like this and action ones too.

just got back from seeing the expendables and i have to say it freak'n rocked! it had plenty of high octane explosions, shooting, blood and gore. it was fun throughout and i recommend this to all true action fans out there and anybody that wants to sit back and enjoy watching this entertaining action-packed epic film. stallone has done it again by bringing the action back to the big screen and blow us away with a new take of directing a film we all been waiting for to experience for the first time seeing the best action stars of our times kick major butt. can't wait for the sequel to release. hoping this makes big in the box-office, so we can expect the sequel to be a bigger budget adding a whole lot more action to explode in our faces.
