I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought the show actually got better as it went on -- as soon as you get numb to the less than fantastic acting from the two leads. Also, isn't Cara like 15 years Orlando's senior? But seriously -- it's worth a watch. I thought I was going to get bored but I found myself really engrossed, and I get bored with shows very easily.
I'm reading a lot of negative reviews about the "heavy-handedness" of the political symbolism and yes, although they're not shy about it, when we have kids in cages in the border and neo-Nazi hate crimes on the regular in 2019, I'm not sure that it's anything but a realistic metaphor unfortunately.
