An American girl follows her boyfriend to Tokyo and gets dumped there. She ends up working for a chef at a Ramen noodle shop. Neither her or the chef can understand each other, but the story is nice and cute. Brittany Murphy does her cute thing, but the movie doesn't suck... weird.
