Inspiring story. Great animation. Childhood memories. Well done!
During the film, I keep asking myself, what was my childhood dream? Have I done all I can to fulfil my dream? It was Jiro's non-stop endeavour and Naoko's selfless support that helped him succeed. Old style animation I grew up with and being Miyazaki's farewell feature, it was a must see for me .
Great performances by the leads. Their bond is so strong that no one moment I believe that they are really breaking up.
Fun and entertaining! All the late 1970's fashion brought back some childhood memories.
The beginning and the end are good but too slow and repetitive in the middle.
