I was surprised after the raving critics to find that Gravity was so shallow. Apart from Bullock's performance the movie holds very little to appeal the seasoned movie buff. It lacks consistency, is much too long and as a thriller is missing out on visuals. Will not make a lasting impact.
When I saw Vantage Point on TV, it was my lucky day. Because I might have actually paid for watching it.
This is one of the low points so far this year when it comes to movies. Sigh. Where to start. First of all, we're being smothered in badly drawn clichés. Unbearably so. Everything in this movie has been done better elsewhere. And unforgivably, the movie is boring while portraying breathtaking action. This is because for some reason only known to the director and his team, we're seeing the same shots and camera material again. And again. And again. And... OK, you got it.
