This was a great movie. As an intellectual I could really relate to the school kid, and the role of Robert Redford. I wish I had role models like that growing up. I recommend every parent give their children this movie. The movies has a bigger scheme, which is about social values, but they were not explored so well. The most important scheme was the dialogue between teacher & student.
I saw this movie years ago. Not really my genre, the psychopathic killer running around the paddock killing people, but in this case the acting & character development was very good, and the scenery stunning as only NZ could be. Jack Thompson was great. I think the best movie I've seen from NZ.
