Fun and light. Beautiful color pops and story moves quickly! Entertaining and free right now on Hulu.
As per the title, a little cookie cutter...but harmless.
I went in with super low expectations so it fit the bill. It was a true 80's through and through experience and Helen Hunt completely steals the movie. Fun enough...but won't be revisiting.
Overhyped as Argento's masterpiece, but a fun little flick with some truly weird scenes and a great twist ending that actually makes sense.
No where near the classic original but has a good scene or two. ...and is Zelda Rubinstein the quintessential Morris the Explainer or what?
Holy smokes. Make sure you watch the unrated version. I started with the Redbox "Hatchet" job, and it was no fun at all. The over the top stuff is what is truly the MEAT of this movie. Make sure to check it out that way ONLY. Still not a huge slasher fan, but this one is entertaining enough for a Halloween weekend horror film binge.
100 different storylines and victims, but ultimately forgettable. Not at all unexpected.
Good home invasion/slasher with some really intense and gorey sequences goes off the rails with insane and illogical third act reveal. Reminded me of the Collector and Intensity from time to time, but as I stated: the last reel ruins it.
Not horrible. Actually had some fun moments and the CGI was deliberately sparing. That was a welcome relief. The "has been" actors didn't treat this as schlock (which it was of course) but that helped make it bearable.
I learned that Clint Eastwood can kind of sing (certainly better than Johnny Depp or Pierce Brosnan), Harve Presnell can REALLY sing, and Lee Marvin likes to drink. I also learned how to look at my watch.
Hang in there for the 2nd and 3rd stories. The first one is a little meandering, but the 2nd one is really funny and the third one is a fun cap to the movie. You just have to get through the first bit.
Much better than I expected. It was a free movie at Marcus on my loyalty card, but glad I went. It was actually fun. Some great cameos.
I will be giving my full review on the next edition of "Dead On Movie Reviews."
Really enjoyed this movie. Saw it in a BARCO ESCAPE showing. Only 7 minutes or so were in the new process, but it could be promising if they expand it. I would go see this again in an instant.
Not what I was hoping for. Beautifully shot but Peck is not Cary Grant.
Reminded me of the gritty R rated action movies of the 80s.
Saw this in Cinesation. Movie was okay but you can keep the rumble seats.
This was AWFUL! Don't let some good actors like Christopher Lloyd, Lance Henrikson, Sean Astin and Jeffrey Combs trick you into watching this miniseries changed into a movie with lower-than-Asylum special effects and awkward acting. I think this is one of the few times that my television actually gave off an odor while showing a film.
