½

A well made omega man, Sharlto Copley is great but the problem is in a world dominated by walking dead, there is not a shred of originality and no surprises if you have seen the trailer.

It demeans unfairly an entire culture. We get to see children and adults alike exploited for shock value when in fact the inverse is the actuality the reality. My experience with indigenous Peruvians has been completely different. The absolute BS at the end pollutes the actual adversity and trials faced by similar tribes people. e.g. http://www.planetexperts.com/native-leaders-killed-amazon-want-right-live/
The film should probably be banned. Finally, the ending made no sense at all, why would she deny what had happened?

Maybe it's because I was reading Gibson around the time but I liked it and Reeves emotional less portrayal fit the role. Far more interesting than John Wick....
