Still good but not great. When Stephan James and Janaelle Monae are together, it's clear that Stephan is an actor. Janaelle, while an artiste, just is not Julia Roberts. Julia Roberts had a presence that elevated the smallness of her character.
On top of that the second series is let down by the fact that it is not directed by Sam Esmail. The budget seems lower with some awful CGI and the story is less. Why is there no backstory for Alex? Still a great series but a real letdown after the first series.
I was expecting it to be better. Ep 2, the guy walks around everywhere in custody wearing a t-shirt with infected blood and they know about the danger. Ep 3, the civilian valuable asset goes out on an incredibly dangerous mission with only one person protecting him. For a vampire series, it's pretty boring.
One of the most amazing television series ever.
In an age where slogans and stupidity reduce complex issues to binary choices we have a film that has a fantastic actress in a wheelchair that doesn't pity her, that shows her drive but inadvertently shows her life as being different.
This story telling narrative is repeated again and again. The writing is so good and empathetic, love it!
A collage and unrelenting barrage of ideas, some hit some miss but overall fascinating, direct take on cyclical themes that breathes fresh life into them and almost ideates a new unpredictable genre. Hats off to writers and what a shame to see groupthink in the reviewers, the lack of comprehension of their behalf is astounding.
It's sad, star trek taking the low road and justifying it. It's Israel versus Palestine not Star Trek. What happened to the federation philosophy? Pre-emptive attacks justified?
It's interesting but evil as opposed to the previous incarnations. Still watchable though..
