A movie that feels like a live action version of Big Hero 6, without the complexity of a Marvel comic book movie. Based off a toy that was turned into a cartoon movie. Solid cast, decent story, and good comedy between Max & Steel. Hour and forty minutes, does leave you wanting more, but gives just enough that doesn't drag into boredom.
Deadpool is prime example that prior knowledge of a comic book character is a must. Everything about this movie screams deadpool, graphic violence, language, overall craziness. Comics are not all happy go lucky, PG13, and this is why they weren't for everybody. The fact it says marvel on it and people confuse this with the PG13 marvel movies is hilarious in itself. Folks you've been warned, you've been told, Rated R means Rated R.
Now that that's out of the way, this movie has action, romance, comedy, origin story, and enough easter eggs to make the Easter Bunny lose his shit. If you've been a fan of the comics, and animated movies that have deadpool in them, you won't be disappointed! This movie has redeemed Ryan Reynolds for his blunder in not only Green Lantern, but the disappointing RIPD. So get the kids a babysitter, breakout the kinky lingerie and prepare yourself for nonstop laughter that is, DEADPOOL!!!
