This film never really caught up, it seems to be a film that has similarities to Van Helsing, Underworld and such genre, but it never lives up to its potentiale, there are some nice scenes, but it is missing some hollywood style and some effects for it to be really entertaining.
This actually have some greater moments then the second film and also have a few twist and turns, all-in-all it is still not as great as the first movie and the plot doesn't really change much, new location, new boss, still twisted sport.
This plays on the very classic horror ways, the shock effect, the places where we don't rally see what is going on and then again, the strange and continuously little pieces of the puzzle, but instead of solving the puzzle we are just left with a bunch of missing pieces and a motive that doesn't really seem to fit together.
There are some familiar faces in this, but mostly unknown actors and actresses, they do okay jobs, but none of them are really giving great performances.
This would have been better if it had been more on the comedian side, fade more fun of itself, I think.
Saw the first one, had to see this one also, as the first one this is also crazy in many ways, well off course they have to do the most reasonable thing a sequel can do, so they have to top the first one and boy do they manage to do that :)
This is New York, and in NY they are more bad ass, they are more though and the movie really tries to make that statement stick by saying it over and over again during the film and making speeches etc.
There are less cool scenes in this one, they are trying to hard and not succeeding. There are some that works and you might as well see it if you thought the first one had some fun/crazy/good moments, but all-in-all it is just a sequel that tries to top the first one.
I have been waiting to get the time to see this, well I guess I had the expectation of watching this and the sequel and sometimes you just think that you are going to waste 3 hours of your time :)
So the time arrived I had high hopes of this being a B-movie classic, it never really reaches that state, but it is strangely drawing and you kind of have to see what they come up with next.
It has some great sequences, I like the plot about sharks being sucked up by giant tornadoes and "traveled" to land where they wash up and attack people.
This has a lot of humor, it doesn't take itself all too serious and it really has some fun and strange scenes. the part where the chain falls off, is when the sharks are able to launch them self in certain directions and practically fly towards a victim . They also "fly" in a certain direction, but when hit by a bullet from a gun they fall to the ground, like they were shot in that place and then could not move anymore :D
A lot can be said about this movie, for most parts it is just hilarious crap, very bad story, bad acting, but fun and strange to the point where you just have to see it.
