Miedy Bishop's Movie Ratings - Rotten Tomatoes

Movie Ratings and Reviews

The Fear Of 13

Who would ever thought watching just one guy talking for 90 minutes the whole time could be so fascinating. I read somewhere that if you like "Making a Murderer", which I haven't seen yet, you'll like this one too. Oh and it's available on Netflix US.

Interesting beginning, great acting, realistic at first then turned into mess.

The Hunting Ground

Difficult to watch, but it's a very important film.

What you see is what you get! Since it was made in 1927, so of course no fancy computer special effect. It was real flying with no green screen! The actors had to learn to fly airplanes and then they would have camera attached to their airplanes. It's a dangerous movies to make. The director was a former pilot and he had to choreographed every flying scenes carefully and the results were amazing! The battle scenes on the ground was also amazing and I'm sure it was so extremely difficult to choreograph everything and there were so many things happened at once! The movie was quite dark and risque for it's time and now it's one of the best silent movies I've ever seen. Not only that, it's now become one of my favorite movies of all time. This movie was the first one to win academy award.

Inside Out
Inside Out(2015)

I am a big fan of Pixar, but these last few years, I wasn't really excited with their movies, mostly because they were focusing on sequels (with the exception of Toy Story 3). Brave and Monster University were still pretty good, especially visually, but I watched those only once, while I watched the others multiple times (except Cars, it's my least favorite).
So, I almost didn't watch Inside Out. I had to drag myself to see it, but I am glad I did. Pixar is BACK! I didn't want to spoil too much, but this is the smartest (in term of storytelling) from Pixar yet. I think the adult will learn valuable lesson while the kids will enjoy the visual. I couldn't even imagine how they made this movie, it's such a complex story, but still manage to grab you emotionally (Pixar DOES know best in this category) and yet still entertaining and a fun movie to watch.
Inside Out was directed by Pete Docter (who directed my favorite Pixar, Up) and scored by Michael Giacchino, who is also one of my favorite movie composer. He was also responsible for beautiful music from Up as well. So, what a combo, right?
As I walked out from the theater, I thought it's a great movie and I was going to give it four out of five stars, but this morning I woke up and I thought this movie is a another Pixar's masterpiece and it deserved five stars. So, the more I think about it, the more I appreciate it. So, please do yourself a favor and go see it

The Babadook
The Babadook(2014)

If you look for something scary, you'll be disappointed. But if you want a different kind of horror, with great story and performances, then give this one a chance. Oh, Stephen King and William Friedkin (the director of The Exorcist) love it too!

You're Not You

What a waste of Swank and Rossum's talent. Great premise, but the whole thing seemed like a Lifetime movie.

Visually gorgeous with strong performance by Mia Wasikowska! I always got a thing with the movie about solitude (when it's done right, if course) and this one is easily becoming one of my favorite movies.

Still Alice
Still Alice(2015)

Definitely one of the best movie of the year... A must watch.

Eddie Redmayne better be REALLY good (haven't seen The Theory of Everything), because Keaton was just amazing in this, well the whole movie is. This is my most favorite best picture winners in the last decade...

Come Back To Me

Great idea, bad acting. Someone needs to remake it.

My new favorite from Nolan. Matthew McConaughey deserves an Oscar nomination for his role.

Good Neighbors

If you love Hitchcock, you'll love this one

Nuit #1
Nuit #1(2012)

Interesting concept... If only the dialogue was more realistic.

Laurence Anyways

Beautiful movie! Yes. it's long! Almost three hours and there were times I wonder if some of the scene were necessary. But I am glad I didn't stop watching. It has one of the most beautiful story and the two leads were PERFECT! I can't wait to watch more work by Xavier Dolan (the director). He's only 25 years old!

Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work

Seriously, this is one of the best documentary ever and I am not even a fan of Ms. Rivers.

Romancing the Stone

I had such a high hope seeing these two again after War of the Roses... Now if I want to watch adventure film, I'd rather stick with Indiana Jones.

Forget "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Mirror Mirror"! Watch this one instead!

Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow

It's like Groundhog Day but with Alien! I love it!

Dallas Buyers Club

One of the best movies of 2013. McConaughey and Leto deserved their Oscar.

Now Is Good
Now Is Good(2012)

It has been done before, too many times, in fact. But, I was glued to to my screen due to terrific acting by Dakota Fanning and more especially Paddy Considine, who I have admired since "In America".

I can not wait to see more and more Mathew McConaughey's roles in the future. He could simply got two Oscar nomination (along with his winning role for Dallas Buyers Club) with this movie.

Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead

So inspiring. It's now becoming one of my favorite documentary.

'Night Mother

Incredible story and performance, especially by Sissy Spacek.

Sunset Boulevard

Very good, but All About Eve is better.

Room 237
Room 237(2013)

Can't believe the meter is so high for this. Who knows, maybe because the theory was just so ridiculous and all over the place. These people found theories in EVERY SINGLE THING! I guess in that way, it was entertaining try to see what kind of theories they'd come up next.

One of the worst movie I've seen in 2013.

Not bad. But still prefer the original.

A great looking movie where you can screenshot at anytime and get yourself a cool wallpaper :)

All About Eve

Bette Davis is beyond amazing!

The Act Of Killing

Disturbing, bizarre, uncomfortable but a must watch.

The dialogue was too modern at times and I miss the old classic Disney's style. But still very much entertaining especially the last 10 minutes or so. This is the strongest contender to win the Oscar for best animation this year so far. Next on my list is: The Wind Rises by Miyasaki.

Los Cronocrímenes (Timecrimes)

If you have a thing for time travel, this is a must watch! Well, even when you don't It's really a cool movie. I love it.

Not a bad movie, but felt like something was missing. Maybe like a good food without salt.

The Innkeepers

The second movie I've seen from Ti West, I really like his style. I can't wait to see more of his works in the future.

Safe Haven
Safe Haven(2013)

It's cheesy and is like watching hallmark channel most of the time, but I can't turn it off.

Happy Accidents

Been wanting to watch this for years, but for some reason, I kept delaying it...until today! What a great and charming movie... D'onofrio and Tomey were fantastic! And of course I love the 'time travel' element.

Saving Mr. Banks

You don't even need to love Mary Poppins to love this movie. I certainly not too fond with the movie adaptation of Mary Poppins, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. I especially love Emma Thompson's performance. She's my favorite to win the Oscar this year. I don't know if she will, though. Tough competition this year (Sandra, Cate and Judi).

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

As someone who hasn't read the book, I think Tauriel rocks! But I love everything about it. The action scene was very cool! The little downside is the conversation with the dragon scene taken a bit too long. (I hope I don't spoil it by mention a dragon).

Captain Phillips

Oscar for Barkhad Abdi, please!

Robot & Frank

Frank Langella was great as usual.

The Heat
The Heat(2013)

It's a FUN movie. Bullock and McCarthy have a really great chemistry.

Stories We Tell

If only "reality shows" is as real as this one, then I might start watching. One of the best movies in 2013.

Warm Bodies
Warm Bodies(2013)

I had two choices last night: Iron Man 3 or this one, I chose this one. I wish I didn't.

Roman Holiday

The ending is unpredictable, so that's a plus. Of course it's always fun to watch Gregory Peck.

A must see on IMAX! The view are breathtaking. Definitely, one of the best movies of the year. I could picture it as Oscar nominees for best picture, best director, special effect, sound, music and perhaps best leading actress for Sandra Bullock.
I can't believe I am gonna say this, but my only complain is there was too much dialogue. But since the movie just so amazing, I think I can ignore that very minor flaw.

Upside Down
Upside Down(2013)

I'd give it three stars, if not for the cheesy ending.

Die Wand (The Wall)

So powerful even when the lead actress only have few words to say! Definitely not a movie for everyone, but if you like minimalism and if you don't mind watching a solo performance with hardly any words, you SHOULD see it. I can't stop thinking about this movie and how much it affected me. I think this is the BEST movie of the year and now it's one of my favorite movies of all time.

The cast was perfect... But that's the only good thing about it.

Pacific Rim
Pacific Rim(2013)

Dear Michael Bay, this is how you make a robot movie.

Fanny & Alexander

My second movie by Ingmar Bergman after "Persona". The first hour need lots of patience, but I am glad I didn't give up. It's a very interesting story about this very interesting family from the point of view of a boy (I wonder why they didn't call this movie just "Alexander"). Now I can't wait to watch my third movie by Bergman, which will be The Seventh Seal (Det Sjunde Inseglet).

Exit Through The Gift Shop

It is a slap in the face for those who like something just because it is popular. Very entertaining documentary. Plus, it is good to learn more about Banksy. I wonder Is there any more documentary about him out there?

Silver Linings Playbook

The acting definitely Oscar worthy, especially for Jennifer Lawrence. The movie itself, not so sure.

I didn't expect to like this movie so much because based on the description, its not something I'd normally see, but I ended it up loving it. Turns out this is actually the kind of movie I'd like to see over and over again.

Forgettable movie... Great performance, but such a weak story. Too bad, since I love all the main actors.

Finally a scary horror movie! I haven't watched one since The Orphanage. Not perfect, but overall it's not a bad movie at all.

Gosford Park
Gosford Park(2001)

If you like Murder on the Orion Express, you'll like this one too.

Sex and the City 2

Is it a movie or fashion show?

Daniel Day Lewis performance is worth watching.

An Education
An Education(2009)

Definitely MUCH better than Mona Lisa's Smile.

Life of Pi
Life of Pi(2012)

The kind of movie that I'll watch over and over again.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Not impressed. But the performance by all the cast were great, that's all the three stars for.

Wreck-it Ralph

Quite funny. I think I'll appreciate more if I was more familiar with 80's arcade games.

Not bad, but not so special either.

The Station Agent

Charming movie. All the main cast were superb.

If These Walls Could Talk 2

The first segment is the best out of three, thanks to Vanessa Redgrave's powerful but yet touching performance. I also love Chloe Sevigni and Michelle Williams's segment (I kinda wish they'd made this into it's own feature movie as I really interest in their story). The third one was the weakest one, not bad but not as great as the other two.

The Blind Side

"Lifetime" made better movies than this.

Safety Not Guaranteed

Disappointing. I have huge expectation after seeing how high the rating is. The lead actress seemed can't act at all. Flat and emotionless.

Doomsday Book

One and a half star, because the second story (it has three stories) was not as bad as the rest.

The Cabin in the Woods

Interesting idea, but that's about it.

The Amazing Spider-Man

I still don't get it why they need to "reboot" something that already great...

An American Crime

Disturbing and powerful at the same time. Catherine Keener and Ellen Page were fantastic.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Finally saw The Hobbit in 3D. I was skeptical at first, I was never really a fan of 3D, because usually it made the movie looked darker and smaller (I prefer Imax, but without 3D). The beginning of the movie looked more like animation than live action (due to the CGI), and when we arrived at Shire, it looked like movie set, but once my eyes got used to it, I could enjoy the movie more and thought the special effect was quite impressive and there were many funny scene as well. Now I can't wait to watch it again, though this time I would wait until the Blu-Ray is out.

The best Horror/Sci Fi movie of all time.

John Carter
John Carter(2012)

Surprisingly good! Love it.

Silent Hill: Revelation

It's crap! Watch the first one instead.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The music is good, but that's about it.

It's a crime that Michael Fassbender didn't get Oscar nomination.

My Week with Marilyn

Michelle Williams is fantastic!

Bedeviled (Kim-bok-nam Sal-in-sa-eui Jeon-mal)

By the description, poster and trailer, it looks like this is going to be typical revenge slasher kind of movie. It turns out to be a powerful drama, and yes with revenge spree at the climax.

The Girl
The Girl(2012)

Hitchcock with Anthony Hopkins is a better film, though Toby Jones did great job.

Great cast. It's fun and entertaining. I am a huge Hitchcock fan and I love this movie.

So cute and charming. Love it.

âSkyfallâ? gets off to a great start only to turns into a major boredom.

The Raid: Redemption

I guess it's good that "The Raid" has very minimal dialogue, because once the actors open their mouth, I have to cringe several times. However, the cinematography and the action scenes are pretty impressive.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

It's pretty good movie, but the soundtrack makes it a GREAT movie. Gonna watch it again.

It's just an okay biopic. I guess I was expecting more. Robert Downey, Jr it's brilliant, though.

Marvel's The Avengers

It's a lot of fun. Fantastic action scene.

It's hard to beat Up and Toy Story Trilogy, but this is one is still charming.

It has slow beginning, but it turns out great after 30 min or so.

Overrated in every ways! Half star for making me laugh for it's stupidity.

Take This Waltz

It's an honest movie. Michelle is fantastic as usual. However, Seth Rogen gave the best performance of all.

Mulholland Drive

Just saw Mulholland Drive again after many years. It's still scary, crazy, weird and unlike any other movies I've seen. Maybe the closest one would be Vertigo (Hitchcock), Persona (Ingmar Bergman) or Three Women (Altman).

Encounters at the End of the World

Great documentary. Next one on the list is Cave of The Forgotten Dreams which also directed by Werner Herzog.

The Dark Knight Rises

So far it's the best movie of 2012. It made me remember how fun to see movie like this on IMAX. Thank god, it's not in 3D at all.

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

A great movie with remarkable performance by Max von Sydow.

The Help
The Help(2011)

I am in the middle of watching all the Oscar nomination movies (still have two more to go) for 2012 and this is my personal favorite (or tied with Tree of Life). Viola Davies and Octavia Spencer are brilliant.

I started to care about this movie only after Thor "landed" on earth.

The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane

If not because of Netflix, I'd probably never know this movie even exists. A great thriller with a very young Jodie Foster and she was really good!

What a perfect movie! Smart story, brilliant acting (especially Faye Dunaway) and just blow your mind in every way possible. Not only this is on the top of my list of best film noir, but also on best movie ever.

City Lights
City Lights(1931)

A charming romantic comedy. I am still leaning towards Buster Keaton, but Chaplin is awesome too.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

GREAT adaptation. There are some changes in comparison to the book, but it fits the story very well.

It's a good movie, but Deathly Hallows Part 2 is still better in every aspects and should get Oscar nod instead of this one.

Return to Paradise

If only Vince Vaughn would do more movies like this. He WAS sssssoooo good! So did Anne Heche and Joaquin Phoenix.

Brokedown Palace

This movie made me a Claire Danes's fan.

Steamboat Bill Jr.

Another masterpiece! It's hard to believe that this movie was made on 1928! Hilarious and the special effects (if there's any!) are astonishing!

Sherlock Jr.
Sherlock Jr.(1924)

The second best from Buster Keaton after The General.

Heavenly Creatures

Terrific performance by the two leading lady.

The Tree of Life

The most breathtaking cinematography and probably the best art direction I've ever seen.

In this case, I have to disagree with majority at Rotten Tomatoes. Except for the acting, there's nothing really amazing with this movie, and I would give it three stars if the soundtracks weren't too distracting.

The first hour was intriguing, but then it start to fall apart.

I have to struggle at the first chapter, but the second chapter was amazing and the ending was one of the best I've seen in cinema history.

Summer Lovers

The only interesting in this movie was Valà (C)rie Quennessen's eyes.

The Breakfast Club

I didn't like it when I watched it for the first time years ago. Glad I give it another chance. Great story and performance by all the actors.

The Expendables

It has it's moment, but when those tough guys try to show some emotion it felt really flat. Enough already with saving the hot girl story-line.

The Adventures of Tintin

You gotta see this on BIG screen. The animation will take your breath away.

The Iron Giant

I understand why Pixar later invited Brad Bird to do The Incredibles. The Iron giant was fantastic. Reminds me of ET and *batteries not included.

I really enjoy Jennifer Jason Leigh performance here, except her singing voice.

I Love You Phillip Morris

This is probably my favorite movie with Jim Carrey.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

Pretty decent movie, though Keanu Reeves was seriously miscast.

She played as this alcoholic woman who tried to extort money, by using a young boy as bait. First you wanted to hate her, but Tilda Swinton's brilliant performance made you side with her. Oh, today also Ms. Swinton's birthday.

Welcome to the Rileys

This is the kind of role that fits Kirsten Stewart the most. Very nicely acted.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

This is where the magic starts. One of the best experience in watching movies.

Total Recall
Total Recall(1990)

I enjoyed it more now than in the past.

The Miracle Worker

It's now on my list of the best and most inspiring movie of all time. This is the kind of movie that I'll watch it again and again. Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke were brilliant. Both won the Oscars for their performances.

The Wedding Banquet (Xi yan)

Ang Lee did comedy! and he did it so well. Though It reminds me on how much I hate going to a wedding. .

So this is where the quote, 'I am serious... and don't call me Shirley' coming from. Leslie Nielsen rocks!

Consider they have much smaller budget, I already like this one so much better than Transformers or Battle: Los Angeles

Every scenes seemed like a new beginning to something that you felt it's going to be cool (It's Clint Eastwood's movie after all), but it wasn't happening unfortunately. It has a very strong beginning and cast, especially the child actor Frankie McLaren, those were the three stars for.

Audrey Rose
Audrey Rose(1977)

It's hard not to compare this to The Exorcist, especially in regard the casting of the young girl who had this 'Linda Blair' type. Unfortunately she didn't possess the same level of talent, though she had her moments sometimes. The second Anthony Hopkins started speaking, the movie improved so much.

Blue Valentine

Michelle Williams is probably the most talented actress in her (or any) generation. I mean it.

Last Night
Last Night(2011)

Keira Knightely is great as usual. She's so natural and believable.

Moby Dick
Moby Dick(1956)

I was mostly impressed with the while whale. How on earth the technology back then allowed them to create such a realistic looking whale.

127 Hours
127 Hours(2010)

A must-see movie. James Franco gives his best performance yet. Warning: It's a bit claustrophobic. Some audience had nauseatic experience (myself included)

Mother (Madeo)

Hye-ja Kim should get Oscar nomination for Best Actress for 2010. This is one of the best female performance I've seen in a while.

Hey, Boo: Harper Lee and 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

A must see for everyone who loves the book (and the movie)To Kill A Mockingbird.

Jack the Giant Killer

It was so awful and ridiculous that... It ended up being incredibly amusing

The King's Speech

Great acting, story, set, and score, but I think The Social Network deserves the Best Picture.

Wing Chun
Wing Chun(1994)

This one is from 1994? 1974 was more like it. With all due respect to Michelle Yeoh, but this movie is just extremely bad in many ways.

Spider-Man 3
Spider-Man 3(2007)

Not as entertaining as the second one but still worth to watch.

Case 39
Case 39(2010)

One of the worst movie I've ever seen.

The Shawshank Redemption

"Hope is dangerous thing," said Red (Morgan Freeman). It's quite made sense when you were in Shawshank prison. It reminds me a bit of " The Count of Monte Cristo", which also adapted into a movie, though I think this one was a bit better.

The Resident
The Resident(2012)

Decided to give it a chance because of Hilary Swank, but the movie just failed terribly. Having Christopher Lee and Jeffrey Dean Morgan didn't help either.

The Social Network

Great movie. Though makes you wonder if you still want to continue using Facebook or not.

I Saw the Devil

What a disappointing movie. The violence are so overrated, it's like watching porn. Tom Six will love this movie I am sure.

Die Hard
Die Hard(1988)

Yes, slowly but sure I am starting to watch more of Rickman's movies. Now I understood why his role here was so iconic. Hans Gruber was a fun villain. Rickman played it deliciously well. Overall, the movie was entertaining and this is how action movie should be. Willis was wonderful too.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2

A very satisfying ending for this saga. Oscar worthy for best picture, best special effect, and more especially for best supporting actor for Alan Rickman's performance as Severus Snape, the most complex and one of the best fictional character ever created.

District 9
District 9(2009)

Great movie. Totally different with "Hollywood" typical movie. That's why it's so refreshing to watch this one.

The Man From Nowhere

The first half seemed like a Hollywood's kinda of B-movie, but it got better when they're back to what makes Korean movie special, though at the end got cheesy again. Still, it's quite entertaining,

Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2(2010)

Not entertaining as the first one, but it's still worth watching.

Rabbit Hole
Rabbit Hole(2010)

A story about a couple deal with the loss of their son in different ways. Brilliant performance by always magnificent Nicole Kidman.

Ip Man 2: Legend of the Grandmaster

Ip Man 1 has better story, while this one only contains never-ending fighting.

Wanna watch a movie about Capote? Rent Infamous instead.

Sandra Bullock is so charming as Harper Lee.

This movie cured my insomnia. I had to struggle to stay awake.

Super 8
Super 8(2011)

Just got back from Super 8. What a GREAT movie. Spielberg + Abrams = FUN! Also the score was done by the amazing Michael Giachinno

Lust, Caution

The best from Ang Lee (even better than Brokeback Mountain and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), in fact this is the best spy movie ever.

We Don't Live Here Anymore

The four leads deliver Oscar-worthy performances, especially Laura Dern.

Quantum of Solace

Prefer this than Casiino Royale.

Revolutionary Road

Winstel and Di Caprio did better acting job than in Titanic.

The best Keira Knightley movie.

It's interesting but it's too long at the same time.

To Kill A Mockingbird

One of the most inspiring movie of all time.

The Birds
The Birds(1963)

One of Hitchcock's best. So simple but yet so terrifying.

The Godfather

The MUST see movie to everyone who claimed they love movie.

Not only it's entertaining like blockbuster movie should be, but the acting and the scrips are brilliant.

The Wizard of Oz

I see why it's such a classic. A definitely a good feel movie.

Shutter Island

I'd give it 5 star if it had more interesting ending.

I expected more from Gibson.

Sex and the City

It's surprisingly entertaining, not as GREAT as the show, though.

The Happening

Couldn't stand Mark Wahlberg same expression from the start to finish.

The Omen
The Omen(1976)

The scariest Antichrist movie maybe after Rosemary's Baby.

One of the best looking animation ever. It treats your eyes really well.

Coming to America

The best Eddie Murphy movie so far.

Apocalypse Now

The best war movie alongside Saving Private Ryan.

March of the Penguins

One of the best documentary ever.

The Butterfly Effect

The best Ashton Kutcher movie to date.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I'd give it five stars if they're more focus on "Half Blood Prince", instead of Ron and Lavender romance.

The Departed
The Departed(2006)

Great stories. One of the best movie of this decade.

Set up a very HIGH standard in movie effects.

The Time Traveler's Wife

Surprise that it's actually pretty good despite the bad critic.

Pixar does it again!

My Girl
My Girl(1991)

Without wizard or magic, children movie still can be fun.

Lost In Translation

I am totally lost in translation

When Harry Met Sally

Meg Ryan IS the queen of romantic comedy.

Shaun of the Dead

I don't like zombies but I like this movie.

The Exorcist
The Exorcist(1973)

The best exorcism movie ever. Nothing beat this one yet.

The Machinist

Great performance by Bale. Unfortunately that's the only good thing about it.

The best movie of the year. It should at least nominated for best picture at academy award.

Sky High
Sky High(2005)

Try to be like Harry Potter but it failed terribly.

Jurassic Park III

Tea Leoni is so damn funny in this one.

The Fountain
The Fountain(2006)

The basic idea of this movie is interesting but it didn't translate really well in the movie.

Aniston proves there is still life after Friends.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

The first one is more magical but this one still interested to watch and the special effect on the last battle scene is pretty impressive.

The best comedy of the year

The Orphanage

The best horror movie since The Others

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

The only funny part when Ricky Bobby prayed at Tom Cruise.

Léon: The Professional

Not many movies can really makes me almost cry but this one is.

Kathy Bates just amazingly creepy in this one.

Cold Mountain

Renee Zellweger steal every scene where she is on it.

G.I. Jane
G.I. Jane(1997)

I was hoping for interesting story but it didn't happen.

Another cheesy movies but in fun kind of way.

Sleepless in Seattle

When Tom meets Meg means magic!

It's funny. More to adult kind of jokes though.

Jurassic Park

I still remember how amazed I feel when they first saw the dinosaur...

Rush Hour
Rush Hour(1998)

Nothing special. It's so much alike with all Jacky Chan's movies.

The Matrix Reloaded

It's that really complicated or I am just too dumb to understand?

The Sixth Sense

I wish all the horror movies as scary and smart as this one.

Live Free or Die Hard

I fell asleep during the movie. Who's fault is that?

Fight Club
Fight Club(1999)

David Fincher at his best.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

Not as funny as the first one, but still isn't that bad.

Saving Private Ryan

The most detailed war movies ever.

Edward Scissorhands

That's why we love Johnny Depp.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Except for the music, the whole movie is wonderful.

Probably my favorite disaster movie.

Will Ferrel is funny but not in this one.

The whole movie is pure art. Even the violence looked so amazingly beautiful.

Meet the Parents

Robert De Niro is not just some serious actor. He can be funny too!

Big Daddy
Big Daddy(1999)

I don't remember it's being funny at all.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The last battle at the end of the movies are perfect. In fact the whole movie ARE perfect.

The 40 Year Old Virgin

Sorry, I don't really find jokes about sex are funny. Am I weird?

Mrs. Doubtfire

Robin Williams was on top of his career.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

My favorite from Harry Potter series. This is more about Hermione than Harry which is totally fine with me.

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2(2004)

When I saw this one I remember thinking to myself that Sam Raimi should direct all movies based on comic and so they will be fun to watch.

Maybe it isn't as funny nowadays, but it was hilarious on the 80's

Mission: Impossible

At least this one is not as overrated as the second one.

Miss Congeniality

It's funny because it has Sandra Bullock. I find myself like this movie alot.

Home Alone
Home Alone(1990)

It's cheesy but it's hard to hate it.

Toy Story
Toy Story(1995)

This is why I always want to watch more and more movies from Pixar.
