Pure Brilliant. I watched this film again recently and now understand why It's acheived Cult Status.
Best Bit: Micheal Dudikoff and Judie Aronson Jumping out of the helicopter and landing on the stunt mat on top of the building. Pan back 2 seconds later no mat. Sheer Quality.

The film was going at a nice pace and then went tits up with the ending. Personally, I think the director was trying to be clever for his own good and failed miserably.
Ray Gower showed some promisng ideas to start with, but he;s got a long way to go if he wants to reach the dizzy heights of wes craven, crononburgh and lynch.
Avoid if possible.

Ok. It's been a while since I have written a review on a film. But can you blame me with the crap that was released in 2009.
Having been busy with the latter half of 2009, I have only recently got round to watching this movie. And boy What a movie it is.
Watching the opening sequence where lando the jew hunter is driving towards the dairy farm and the french farmer telling his daughter to fetch him water, I could almost be mistaken for thinking I'd gone back nearly 50 years and half expected to see henry fonda step out of the car, so much was the comparisson to Sergio Leone's Once Upon a time in the west. And though none of the female stars can come close to Claudia Cardinal in beauty, each has their own attractiveness.
I know a lot of people can see the similarities between this film and The Dirty Dozen, The Latter being a master piece in it's own right. Tarentino's film will stand alone as a cinematic great.
Though I do think the film would have been more appropiate in blacka and white.
A must see.
