Beautiful movie. The acting and directing feels effortless. Everything Jon Stewart touches is 100% perfection.
I loved the twist on the classic story. My 6 year old daughter is a huge Sleeping Beauty fan, and she loves this too. She can't wait to see it again, and is already asking when we can buy it. There is nothing inappropriate for small children, either.
Seriously, have the writers ever READ an Alex Cross book? Nothing, I mean NOTHING about this movie even resembles the book outside of some of the main characters name's and the fact that Alex is a cop. Maria died before the first book. Alex has always lived in D.C.. Why change it to Detroit? I hate when movie studio make stupid changes. I understand cutting it down for time, but don't change the whole story. I'm glad I waited for it to come on cable, I'd have been pissed if I paid to see that.
