Rating History

Crash (2004)
26 days ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Though it can be preachy and a bit overwritten at times, Crash is still a wonderfully honest and intricate examination on modern racism bolstered by an affecting score and editing, and a tremendous ensemble cast.

The Good Neighbor
5 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Though its mixing of found footage style with practical film-making seems odd at first, The Good Neighbor provides a nice set up before flipping its story and perception in a somber final act.

It Follows
It Follows (2015)
5 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Nicely atmospheric, It Follows manages the feel of a modern classic horror and has a sure-fire and unique premise packed with dread but the movie would have done better to stick close to that premise instead of breaking away from it into several moments of static lethargy.

The Secret Life of Pets
5 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Though sharply animated with a go-getting voiceover cast The Secret Life of Pets desperately wants to be Toy Story but never gets very far due to underdeveloped characters, premise, and plot points.

Moonlight (2016)
5 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Though decently crafted with moving moments, Moonlight is not as new, telling, or compelling as it thinks it is.
