Cautionary tale, excellent music, awesome cameo by Bowie and a gal certainly to care for but last half is pretty hard to watch
epic storytelling with two acting giants playing off each other in just a wide landscape...great departure for both leads
A look and feel that is awesome...has the feel of a Sunday afternoon film on WPIX in its heyday and has an independent cop thriller feel right down to the end
It all started here and it holds up in any decade and at any time. A Classic!
A solid first half gives way to a peculiar last 3rd but enough awesome and enough 80s provide more positives than negatives. Bowie, Davies and Sade are highlights along with Kensit in a stunningly charming debut! Adore the look and the widescreen palette along with the score but gets lost towards the end.
