The resolution to the dog park problem took way too long, literally last second in this one, and it's really hard to want to care about someone who maxes her parents credit cards and doesn't even seem to care that she is a burden to her family, like she is entitled in every way. If you wanna watch a cheesy Christmasy movie it will do, but there are better options.
Not entirely sure why the magic had to be portrayed in such a trippy way. The main character probably would have been slapped a few times for the tings the pulls along the way. Aside from that It was basically your typical Christmas movie, one character has too much Christmas spirit while the other is lacking.
awkward and yet still pretty funny. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, you might like this too, it doesn't poke fun at the zombie movies, but it does have it's own little twists and tons of movie references.
It could be worse. They changed a bunch of little things that were kinda annoying if you read the books. It wasn't at all a big budget film and I feel like it should have been. It was still fairly decent.
Three stories of basically different reincarnations. You just want them to be together but it appears they will do whatever they can to ruin everything. You will get sucked in and wonder why you were watching it until the end. It's a great collection of love stories.
Funny and ridiculous. At first I thought Sam Rockwell is a little old for Anna Kendrick, but then I felt like they both had this awkwardness about them that was a perfect compliment. If you want a love story that could pretty much be a happy medium between the sexes, it's a good choice.
About what you would expect from a Zombie movie staring a bunch of boy bands. It was gory and action packed. I was a little more upset with the fact that they recycled the footage when they introduced the characters than I was with the sometimes bad acting.
I liked all the Martha Stewart jokes thrown in there because basically who she plays, only she suffers more than Martha Stewart did. It was funny, Melissa McCarthy basically plays the same role she always does where Kristin Bell although lately she has been cast as the repressed mother has a slightly more diverse base.
So far the only live action movie from Disney that has bothered to actually throw in a song from the cartoon version. At least it was "Bear Necessities". I think they did a good job making the animals look realistic and still talk to Mowgli.
If you love first person shooters you will love this movie. Action packed with just enough storyline to keep you interested in what happens to the characters. I wasn't expecting a telekinetic person in this to make it more of a Sci-fi movie than an action one, but it makes things a little more interesting. Sharlto Copley doesn't disappoint either, he is the right amount of ridiculous.
Think Hallmark movie and you won't be disappointed when you watch it. A little sappy, but that was to be expected from this B movie. I was actually more concerned with the dogs than I was with the drama she had with her boyfriends though, if that tells you anything.
Considering the title I was expecting the mother to be more meddling. I'm still trying to figure out what her husband did that he has so much money just to piss away on people she doesn't even know. My best guess was gangster. It has some funny moments, but there are points in it where it is really slow.
This one pretty much has the same problem that Batman Vs Superman has where there are just too many characters in one movie and it makes it very hard to have the characters develop enough for the audience to care. It was good, in that it was action packed, but I don't really see this as a stand alone movie, as it is basically an introduction to what I assume will be an action packed part two.
Well at least I didn't have to listen to off key hillbillies this time. They turned the original movie that was pretty much a comedy into what resembles more of a drama in this movie. At least they did keep Elliot's mannerisms and personality more to the original. It is a cute family film even if you haven't seen the original Pete's Dragon.
