B Movie horror... with Stephen Rea on B Movie duties. Very, and I mean VERY average Werewolf action/horror romp...
Steven Seagal... one of my guilty pleasures, ageing, bloating, but still got that whispery voice. Ving Rhames and the wonderful Danny Trejo pop up in this little gang war fare piece (that seems to set the stage for more to come of Mr Seagal's "Mr Alexander" Character... if you're used to Seagals' work, you know what to expect... his better days are behind him.
Very run of the mill, formulaic action drama (Mickey Rourke is billed as co-star but only appears for about 5-10minutes tops), Jeffrey Dean Morgan though is great through out... carries this movie, the best he can.
What a great supernatural thriller... and what a damn shame it didn't get a better release. A movie version of the Dean Koontz book based on a young man called "Odd Thomas" who has a special gift...'he see's dead people', DO NOT dismiss it as a Sixth Sense rip off, it isn't...
Well if you enjoyed the other 3 Transformers movie you won't be disappointed... this is more of the same, maybe even a tad better, out with Shia and in with Marky-Mark. Hong Kong makes an appearance in the 45minute finale action sequence... Its nice to see Optimus and Bumble Bee & Co back in the saddle, nice work from dependable Tucci and Frasier Crane-Kelsey Grammer. Its a summer movie, pop corn, noise, explosions and Robots in Disguise! (...warning it's long, at 2hours 45mins... but, personally I didn't feel it)
