One of the newer “live adaptations” of Disney classics was no where near as bad as the scores and reviews it has received. I enjoyed this film from start to end. The classic story, all star cast, good effects work, Dumbo was so cute! I was a little worried about this one because of what I have read, this was a classic example of ignore what other people think and say and form your own opinion of it. The film does get a little slow in the middle, but it picks right back up in the 3rd act. It’s not perfect but I still loved it.
Captive State on the other hand was a turd. This story had so much potential but between the bad writing, downright awful and laughable cgi effects, this film fell flat on its face.
Central Intelligence really surprised me at how funny it was. The chemistry between Rock and Hart is incredible and they need to do a lot more together. The laughs slowed towards the end but the story held it up and I enjoyed this film more than I expected.
this one sucked. The quotes you see here on this movie poster are flat out lies. This is not a masterpiece in the slightest bit in my opinion. This story was awful, if there even was one. It’s just a bunch of nonsense going on with a metal dildo and human fluids all over the place and some violence. I felt like they were trying to make this movie all artsy and fartsy with the color schemes and it just didn’t work. Go watch The Neon Demon if you want to see that done perfectly. AVOID
