better than the last one but still needless
funny story that emphasizes how corrupt government is. cruise does what he does best and make a morally repugnant character attractive
fun riff on groundhog day. loads of humor and a little bit scary.
well done lovecraft type story
uncomfortable yet funny and very emotional
workmanlike by comparison to the original but a compelling story and solid performance
charming performances but pedestrian story. it really should have been more interesting
carrell is outstanding and it's fun seeing the events I remember being played out again. it betrays its own story by forcing itself to be politically correct
parts of a great movie hidden inside a mediocre one. the decision to tell the story out of sequence was needless and ineffective
interesting at times, reminiscent of Anderson's if...but not as good. Harris was the strongest part.
solid thriller, the kind that was more common in the late 80s and 90s. a list actors, fairly straightforward story and workman like direction
I was less impressed than many. I felt cheated that this was merely part one. hopefully of two parts and not some stretched trilogy.
fun stylish and well choreographed the big drawback was the multiple twists
not bad but a let down by comparison. the naming of nova invalidates a couple plot points to come
dynamic and dazzling. This is a movie for people who love filmmaking. Great performances and sharp visuals throughout
not what I was expecting but a solid story with very strong performances.
not bad but a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing
quirky, but brilliant examination of power struggles in relationships...or just a silly kaiju movie
not great but certainly an improvement over the previous entry in the series . shocking to see linney slumming it.
