My Name Is Khan
7 years ago via Flixster

Excellent message, wonderfully presented. I can only recommend this movie. Too bad it is not available in more theaters!

I love the way Khan's mother explained to him that it doesn't make sense to judge people based ontheir religious affiliation. Also, the segment in the Mosque in LA is absolutely goergeous! The Judeo-Chrisian God, as well as the Muslim Allah, are about love, not hate! No matter what spiritual idea we believe in, this is what we should never forget, but all to often do: Love is the answer. Hate, just causes more destruction, than it fixes...

Enjoy a very inspiring and thought provoking, yet highly entertaining and at time hillariously funny movie!

Great Story - unfortunate ending. Ryan seems on the right track, albeit probably for not the best reasons: Get rid of your clutter! Big house, car, even relationships can tie you down, and make it impossible for you to move.
I think, if you want to be available for the Universe to take you to where you are needed, it's easier if you're free. Unfortunately, although the story starts out with a great, new, different approach to life, in the end it falls back into the old, traditional perspecitve. Too, too bad!
Still well worth seeing - helps you ponder how your life could be different...

Extraordinary Measures

Quite an inspiring story! Especially, when you understand that the Universe uses us humans to get things done. We're born into families, environments, situations to facilitate the improvement. Meagan and Patrick suffered, Their father chose to go beyond the typical, the ordinary, the
"comfortable", and did all he could do to cause a change. And he and the researcher, together, they did - and still do it seems (as this is based on true events). Are you looking for purpose in your life? This story can help you find it: Be a Change Agent in this world!

Brothers (2009)

Beautiful study of how combat is screwing up a person's emotional balance completely! Important movie, as it can help us realize what kind of damage we are causing by sending our kids into war... Interesting to see the National Guard (or was it Marines) commercial before the movie - the commercial provides the hype, the movie provides the reality...

Great movie. Wonderful songs, sexy characters. great cinematography and choreography.
If you go beyond the traditional judgements of "cheating", and look at what is really going on with the guy, and how the women where contributing to the situation, you might get away with quite some insights and ideas about how to make relationships work, and what kills them...
