Perhaps the best X-Men movie ever made!
Best film of 2010,full review to come...
I know its going to be bad,but I just love Kristen Bell.
I can remember as kid when I highly anticipated the next upcoming Disney film. For the first 9 years of my life they were all hand drawn animation. Then I saw the previews for Toy Story, and I was blown away! It was the first computer generated movie I had ever seen at the time. Then when I finally went to see the original in November of 95 at the tender age of 9, my expectations were not only met they were exceeded. From that point on every film I went to see was compared to Toy Story. My father would always ask me if I like the film, whether it be Disney, Paxar , Dreamworks, what have you. I would say, ? Sure but its not as good as Toy Story.? Then 4 years later in November of 99 at the age of 13, Toy Story 3 became the new standard for Disney/Pixar films. The Toy Story franchise could do no wrong.
As the years past, I would anticipate each and every Disney and Pixar release. I didn't matter how old I became, I still enjoyed just about every one of their films. None of them ever reached my high standards. I loved them, but I was never in love with them. My only true love was for Toy Story 1 and 2. The characters, the story, the animation, the voice acting none of which could be topped.
Then came the summer of 2009 and I saw the first trailer for Toy Story 3! I almost creamed my pants in excitement! Finally they are going to make a fucking Toy Story 3!!! The trailer only gave me a taste but that was all I needed.
Finally after months and months of waiting, a movie that I have been waiting over a decade for arrives! As the movie starts I can feel an adrenaline rush through my entire body. The hairs on the back of my head and arms stood up. Once I see Andy I?m rather surprised to see him and even more surprised to see him as a child in the opening scene. Thankfully it was just a flashback. Then I come to find out that Andy is only 17 and is about to go to college! Which to me doesn't make sense, the first Toy Story came out in 1995,so why is he only 17 in 2010?? He should be at least 21,so a bit of a plot hole for me there but not something that is going to ruin the movie. The progresses and I?m happy to see all the characters I have enjoyed from the previous films. Woody and Buzz of course have always been my favorites. I must say there characters are just as enjoyable as they once were. I even grew to love some of the new toys in Toy Story 3. Yes it seemed Pixar hasn't failed me yet. At the begging of the film I was loving all the little gags and jokes the writers had thrown in. Each one seemed to be appropriate for each charter and never seemed to over the top. Woody seemed to crack me up the most out of all the characters. I rarely laugh out loud during a film, but this one had me laughing, which believe me is saying something. The people at Pixar are geniuses people! Later in the story the toys combine forces with other toys at a local daycare. My favorite new addition was Ken, he was hilarious. All the feminine qualities but a smile on my face. Him and Barbie were of course a great team, the music when they first meet was priceless. I could go on and on about each scene and what I liked about it and a few, but very few things I didn't care for in Toy Story 3,but I will stop there because I want each and every Flixster member to have their own experience with the film.
If there is anything that you should know about this film, know this: Toy story 3 is and will always be my favorite Pixar and Disney movies of all time! The characters, the animation, voice acting, dialogue , story, just about everything about this film is perfect. If you don?t go see this film then you are truly missing out on not only one of the best films this year, but of all time!
Meh I didnt care for this all that much. I often do like this type of movie, but this one was rather boring. The plot is similar to Hitchcocks Dial M for Murder for which I havent seen. So yeah I suggest you check that one out instead of wasting your time with this one. Although I did like the ending and the sexy Gwyneth in this movie.
A decent movie, not nearly as bad as the cover suggests. Yes I did watch it because Kristen Bell was in it and she really doesnt get that much screen time. Oh well, still enjoyable and I did like the main character, he was comical.
The only reason why I'm giving this movie 3.5 stars is because it was so damn entertaining! Really this movie should get 2 stars, but I couldnt help myself. The acting in this movie is soooo bad! The main dude in this is so horid, so much so that I was laughing my ass off! One redeming quality in this film is the eye candy in Lee Armstrong. There was this scene when we ALMOST see her boobs! Come on show us the good stuff,so yeah this movie teases us a bit. There was one scene of nudity that was quite comical. That scene of course was when the stripper came out of the tv set haha,so over the top this movie is. So bad,yet sooo funny! If you like cheesy horror films this is for you!
This movie is soooo fucked up! I mean believe me I have seen up fucked up shit and this movie almost takes the cake. I can damn near promise you that you will be disturbed by this film!
Holy Shit! I don?t want to ruin anything, this is the type of movie that you should go into knowing nothing to very little about. Its so creepy, though some of the situations the boys are in may seem unrealistic it just makes the movie at least for me that much more disturbing. If you have a weak stomach, stay away from this film!!! I have never in my life seen this in a film before, its very unique. The acting isn?t the greatest that is one of the things that brings this movie down a bit though.
