This is probably one of the better movies I've seen in a while (granted, I haven't seen that many movies recently). The script is less than ideal and I could have done without the animal euthanasia subplot and also the "Lifetime movie" ending, but overall it was pretty enjoyable.
The movie seemed way too rushed and was underdeveloped. It comes across as though they didn't know what direction to go, so they just went all over the place....kinda like that splatter painting shown in the beginning. This had potential to be a good, but totally fell short.
Thought provoking, yet still has the bloody, gory stuff that people love. But, I didn't really like it. Maybe it's because of my utter disdain for horror (my definition of horror is violence and bloodshed) or the fact that vampires are ironically getting old, I don't know, but in my opinion, this movie is kinda forgettable.
This was OK. Not completely what I was expecting though. The relationship between Jess and Roman wasn't really covered, so I didn't get why he was obsessed with her...so that basically makes the plot moot.
But if you put aside the fact that the movie was almost pointless, it wasn't THAT bad. It kept me watching til the end and SMG is getting better with age...except her fake crying, god it's horrible...
