The movie is not even a shadow of Hollywood's production. It did have some nerving moments and the music is great. Apart from this, you are going through a boring plot, meeting shallow characters, witnessing awkwardly simple dialogues and enjoying, hmm, low-cost visual effects. One can definitely see the director's good intentions and view on the movie, but the tight budget was not spent wisely.
As action-packed as absurdous, this movie is destined to entertain any of you who suck silly lolipops. I caught the movie on TV, then rewatched it properly. Despite the biting reviews elsewhere, the mixture of great cast, incoherent plot and black humour make it extremely enjoyable. Recommendation in full :D
I frankly liked the movie for its masterful mixture of political conspiracy, judicial and moral dilemmas, and the brilliant cast. Great people protect principles, not other people or themselves.
