Cruel and tense French 70s thriller about two girls turning to sadism and blasphemy to counter the boredom of the bourgeoisie. They kill little animals, harass the farmhands, and run around and ride their bikes in mini skirts. Clearly the inspiration behing heavenly creatures, and heartily recommended by me.
Classic Ghibli that I still had lying around. Marvellous stuff.
Staying true to its theatre roots, there's just four actors and one room, but I had a hell of a time with these fine actors, especially Waltz.
Surprisingly entertaining and incredibly well animated feature from Spielberg, who I'd like to commend for staying so true to the source material. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to hear that.
Suspenseful drama covering some dark themes with excellent editing and writing, not to mention the compelling performances.
