One of Lau Kar leungs greatest movies ever. with fights scenes that are sharp, fast, detailed and enthralling, it is sometimes hard to forget it's plotline, which breaks negative stereotypes long been held in china. roughly speaking, this film is Shakespeare's Taming of the shrew with kung fu added but it representsthe japanese (long-time chinas devil characters in movies, almost moreso then white guys!!) as humans and actually makes a comment upon the entire japanese-chinese relations at that time. If this film hadn't existed, I really doubt Let Li's fist of legend would have ever been made the way it was.
