Four big stars just for the sheer inappropriateness of it all! Obviously, I would have preferred more than a couple brief minutes of John Cusack, but I'll take what I can get. This is very dumb, but very, very funny if you have a sense of humor.
It's big, it's loud, it's fun, it's exciting, it's suspenseful, it's sad, it's funny, it's amazing and it's too damn short! I waited 14 years for under two hours of Jurassic greatness? BOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Minus a half star for making 2/3 of a movie!
For such an expensive film, the car falling at the beginning was some straight up laughable CGI, but after that, it was OK. I don't get it, but whatever. As always, this is one of our favorite genres, and it was very enjoyable. Plenty of suspense, drama, booms, bangs, a little romance for good measure, some always pleasurable Paul Giamatti and a whole lot of The Rock. The wrestler, not the insurance.
