There's a lot to unpack here, but the bottom line is that Sharp Objects is Interesting.
And beautifully acted.
Forever is entertaining, but a show so centered on surprise needed a stronger ending.
I really like JASON RALPH and the quiet content is nice, but the storytelling is ridiculously inept. I've heard it gets better, but I'm unlikely to continue.
Atlanta is good, it just always seems like less than the sum of its parts. I might have enjoyed it more if I'd known it was never really going to develop its story, or if that first episode hadn't set up so much the series never delivered. Really solid performances, and I loved Darius.
Whishaw and Rampling are terrific but the plot confused me. Worthwhile for the queer text/subtext.
