Broadchurch or the Killing but with a science fiction/horror aspect. Which works due to fine acting and a great cast. It also helps that it is based on a Stephen King story.
One of the best video game adaptions. Of course boring critics don't appreciate it. Henry Cavill is perfectly cast as Geralt. Even if so far he's a little too much like Geralt from the game with not much personality.
From the start this show captures the world of the game right away. Critics just can't admit when a video game adaptation is actually good.
Breathtakingly awesome so far. Feels very old school Star Wars. Which is a good thing. While it has a more Western feel to it that I wish the new movies had.
The Mandalorian so far does Star Wars about as good as George Lucas. Maybe even better since I always wished there was a StarWars like this. A gunslinger like Western that has an old school Eastwood feel to it.
Surprisingly more engaging than it has been in awhile. With a dangerous new threat and plenty of sad losses.
The casting is good but we don't need anymore shows with the Riverdale approach. Where it's all about sex and vain cliche characters that are hard to stomach.
In a move I find clever, but not everyone does. Buffy suddenly has a sister named Dawn. Which leads to a good mystery of where she came from.
Is she good or evil ? You also have the memorable episode of Buffy losing her mom.
Buffy is back from the dead. It's too bad that this is weakest season though. Despite a memorable musical episode.
Most of the season has Buffy against her weakest villains. 3 nerds who decide they are her arch enemies.
Things get interesting and sad when they accidentally kill Willow's girlfriend. Which gets Willow to bring out the dark side with dark magic.
Season 4 isn't the strongest season but Hush is possibly the best episode of the series. While even Buffy not at its best is still entertaining.
Yes, even in season 6.
Possibly even better than season 2. With the introduction of Eliza Dushku as Faith. A troubled teen and new Slayer.
Buffy sleeps with Angel and he loses his soul. The shit hits the fan and some supporting characters don't make it to season 3.
A great first season with some of Buffy's best episodes. Even when it's cheesy, Buffy season 1 is very entertaining.
Netflix's under-rated Series from the Simpsons creators. Is better than it gets credit for. Not every joke lands but it is entertaining.
A creative and darkly funny cooking show. That Netflix of course canceled.
A great voice cast, amazing puppetry and wonderful eye candy. Makes Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance a must watch.
It's quite possibly the best Fantasy of the decade, including movies. I would even say it's better than the 80's movie.
Often corny, looking back at it now. However, a lot of episodes are classics. While the show feels way more like Ghostbusters than the 2016 movie.
That was one twisted and well acted ride. I can't wait for more.
It was more like the movies, than the last two seasons. With some actual good twists. I binged it in one day.
Well cast and well acted. Also funny and completely strange but strange in an entertaining way.
Interesting but wastes some characters from Stephen King books. With no mention of what they went through in the books. For one, Needful Things.
While the finale raises more questions than it gives answers. When the next season might not even continue the story.
