Quite possibly one of the most important movies ever made. "Wont You Be My Neighbor" begins its journey into the early adulthood of Fred Rodgers and continues on through his life displaying his many acts of kindness. Yet what really makes this movie is the end, how everything is brought together and makes you look at yourself, your life and the people you surround yourself with.
when I consider that this was made 13 years ago, and that I already knew the twist ending and that one of my favorite horror movies in "As Above So Below" already took place in the same setting, this movie (forgiving the slow first 40ish minutes) is quite good, good job building suspense. I do this this could really benefit from a remake though. If you give the same director as The Revenant this, add say Rebecca Fergson as the lead, build around her, you could have an epic on your hands.
I assume you have to be stoned to like this?
low expectations really helped along anything remotely impressive this movie did
Alright, Im going to have to say it, Dwayne Johnson just doesnt make good movies where he is the lead. With the exception of San Andres (which at best is passable). The only good movies hes in is part of a good group, like Jumanji and Pain and gain. This movie has some of the worst special effects in years. there is nothing special about this movie. they attempt to have something different by making the lead amputated, however unfortunately for them, I am not that simple minded
