Movie Ratings and Reviews

Seed of Chucky

They should have stopped after Bride of Chucky.

Requiem for a Dream

Gritty, emotional, powerful, real...

Girl, Interrupted

I used to watch this film far too often.

This one gets me every time...

Marvel's The Avengers

Good superhero stuff for sure.

Baby Mama
Baby Mama(2008)

Some good laughs. Plus it's Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It can't be bad.

Ray Liotta sitting there talking with the top of his head off? Really?

The Lost Boys

I love this movie. Definite 80's vibe that will continue smacking other vamp movies like Twilight in the face.

It's Kind of a Funny Story

It was alright, kind of disappointed though.

The Hangover
The Hangover(2009)

It was funny and all, but kind of over rated in my honest opinion...

Hard Candy
Hard Candy(2006)

Didn't care for it.

The Dark Knight

Not a big Batman fan, but great movie, my favorite is clearly The Joker.

Pieces of April

I can't stand this film, I don't know what it is.

Welcome to the Rileys

Good performances but needed just a tiny bit more "uumph."

Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle

One of those fun, eye candy types. I saw this at the drive in when it first came out and proceeded to buy it on VHS at Blockbuster. Wow, nine years ago.

Eight Legged Freaks

A fun watch. I still have this one on VHS.

Monkey Trouble

I watched this movie a LOT as a kid, and loved it.

Intimate Stranger

Regardless of being kinda silly, that's the fun of it and I enjoyed the movie. You have to have a certain sense of humor, even though this movie isn't exactly a comedy. Plot is relatable.

Drop Dead Gorgeous

I hate this movie and its ridiculous accents, they couldn't be further from the real thing. I'm from Minneapolis so I was a little offended. Waste of time.

An good one time watch, maybe two, if you can handle the unnecessary gore that attempts to make this film scary.

Classic horror film. It's hard to grasp that once the shower scene is over, the rest of the movie has no Marion and not much else for another hour afterwards! Though, that is what makes this film tick and really crawl underneath your skin.

Cronenberg was ahead of his time with this one. I always get sad when I see Debbie Harry in films, wishing she was cast in more. I believe this film will continue holding up.

Thelma & Louise

One of my all time favorite movies. Authentic and enduring loaded with all sorts of raw emotions that will hold up as long as humans do. Girl power.

The Runaways
The Runaways(2010)

Enjoyable, but I feel the authoritative attitudes that could have been were sugar coated on screen in comparison to the real Runaways spirit.

Monsters, Inc.

I love this movie so much. It's good and doesn't need an explanation as to why. Watch it and see.

Mean Girls
Mean Girls(2004)

Kind of a must see high school click movie.

School of Rock

Fun, though definitely not limited to that word, time and time again. Jack Black. That is all.

Classic is all I can say.

Black Swan
Black Swan(2010)

On its way to becoming a real classic. Seeing this film on the big screen when it first came out felt like one of those special moments you wish you could have partook in with past masterpieces. I stood up from my seat truly entranced.

Bringing Down the House

I thoroughly continue to enjoy this movie regardless of the horrible reviews. Typically succeeds in putting me in a lighthearted mood.

Deep Blue Sea

I have always enjoyed this movie regardless of any corny or bland moments. There is just something about 'Aquatica' that sets the stage for a fun and creepy ride through the depths of the sea.

The Exorcist
The Exorcist(1973)

Horror classic that renews itself with each watch.

Toy Story
Toy Story(1995)

A classic for all the right reasons.
