Being a zombie movie fan, I found this a weak representation of one. It felt more like a social statement of "What We Become" in the face of extreme adversity. Most of the characters are plain unlikeable and make stupid decisions. There was really no one to root for. You begin to look forward to the whole cast getting eaten. The movie was frustrating in that there really isn't much to it and it was completely predictable. What made the movie better was the acting and the set up of the outbreak. The movie had me until about halfway and then lost me completely.
A part of my personal movie collection. A Powerful message with spectacular special effects. The story brings you in and fills your curiosity to what lurks in the depths of the ocean. With a little bit of comedy, romance and a whole lot of drama & suspense, this film is the whole package.
This was one of those movies that kept you on the edge of your seat and made you question what you were really watching. Aside from the stage make-up, this movie had great presence. The children, especially Bustamante, was incredibly skilled for this movie. The story is well told and depicted and worth your time.
This is the incredible story of a man who communicated using only one eyelid. Brillantly done. The symbolism of his "locked in syndrome" is wonderfully depicted. This is a heavy movie but inspiring. This man lost everything overnight and was still able to overcome. everyone can learn something from this film.
The first one had me crying I was laughing so hard. This one was good for a sequel but could not have stood on its own. Not much different from the first only different place in the world so if you liked the first, you will enjoy the second. Loved Loved Loved the monkey and the special guest at the end.
