It befuddles me on how could they mess this up in 2017.
The visuals and 80's styled soundtrack are amazing but they completely missed the nail biting intensity, braininess and appeal of the original source material.
If anything the only good choice here was Willem Dafoe's chilling presentation of Ryuk.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

" A fresh blended juice of Marvel, Disney and a pinch of Pixar humor"
A refreshing, comic-colorful, high-school coming of age Spider-man that we've all been waiting for. It took them 3 reboots to get it right. Tom nailed Peter Parker with a blend of Maguire's naiveity and Garfield's spunk . The characters are just so simple, lovable, funny and slapstick. The marvel universe cameos such as Tony Stark and the rest didn't bog down the identity of the movie. Keaton delivered a very cunning and familiar performance as the villain.
IF there is one negative thing it would be that this Spidey was spoon-fed millenial style with a Spidey-suit that was..more of an ironman suit than a spidey suit. It can't top 2004's Spider-man 2 in terms of legendary-ness but overall what we have here is a safe and spectacular spiderman reboot that is worth your time.

Wow can we just hand over the entire DC cinematic universe into Miss Jenkin's hands? This movie is near perfect! The first solid entry in the DC cinematic universe. The first and only DC movie I've actually enjoyed since Man of steel and it manages to have its own unique DC universe vibe with just the right amount of everything, and not ending up like a Marvel studio formula copycat. bravo miss jenkins and gal gadot you beautiful piece of art...

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Galactic Goodness.. I have no complaints or any qualms at all. This sequel was A BEAUTIFUL, HIGH, NEUROTIC MESS. Most of the soundtrack is composed of my favorite retro tracks ( that everyone used to find it weird that I listened to them years ago back in med school.)
The characterization for ALL the characters are perfect.
The VISUALS ..goddamn just watch it in IMAX 3D for heavens sake. And the friggin cast! Kurt Russel? SYLVESTER STALLONE?? GOLDEN.
