The superbly executed plot combined with the setting makes this film unique and separate from any other vampire film I've seen, and yet it still presents a dignified to the genre I love so much. The somewhat 'empty aura' generated through the dialogue and decrypted (yet still realistic) scenery has this kind of, 'lonely' feeling to it which makes it an excellent film to watch late at night on your own, especially when you want to feel solitary in this ever moving world.
However cheesy this film may be, it's great to see a story line that separates it's self from the typically 'gritty plot' often expected for stories about queer Asian women. Realistic, heart-warming, and somewhat comical; 'Nina's Heavenly Delights' is defiantly a film recommended queer kids looking for a nice slice of representation.
A beautifully articulated film featuring an intimate storyline that presents the struggle of being gay in a society that doesn't understand the concept. The combination of both humour and real-life issues shows us that to everything, there is always a little bit of a bright side. Excellent acting talents included.
