Andrew's Review of Skyfall
Bond is back in his latest adventure, Skyfall! I've been really looking forward to this film since August. Now that I've finally seen it, I can finally say that this film was great! Not the best thing I've seen this year, but it cuts it pretty close! The film starts with Bond on a mission, leaving him wounded after shot in the arm and thought for dead. Once a terrorist, played by Javier Bardem, tries to kill M, Bond returns to find and stop the madman. There was a lot of good that came out of this movie. For starters, the action was really well choreographed. Every action scene was exciting and very believable. Another great thing in this film is the actor that portrayed Q. His performance was very witty and enjoyable. Another great contributer to the film was Javier Bardem as Silva. The way that he portrayed the villain (while a bit overdone at points) was great! He looked and sounded like an utter madman, which is what I really wanted. I wish to applaude director Sam Mendes for this great addition to the James Bond franchise. The only real reason that I didn't give this a perfect 5 out of 5 stars was the fact that the story felt a bit cliched at points. Other than that, Skyfall is a terrific James Bond film that must be seen in the theaters!
