Andrew's Review of Argo
Move over Dark Knight Rises, you've just been replaced! Not only is Argo, as of now, the best film of 2012; it's also now one of my favorite films of all time! The film is based on the true story of Tony Mendez's plan to get six hostages out of Iran during the Iranian Hostage Crisis of the early 1980s. His plan: create a fake movie and pretend to scout the location in Iran, disguising the hostages as a film crew. I had such a great time watching it's movie. For one thing, the acting is phenomenal. I could really feel the fear in some of the hostages as the film progressed. The direction was just as great. I highly encourage people to watch Argo while it's still in the theaters! It's a great espionage film that follows the amazing true story and will have people on the edge of their seats (especially during the final half hour).
