It's exactly what it looks like. Kid with a cop, with a different muscleman showing off his comedic soft side. No surprises here. It's as average as you can get.
A 2017 Will Smith Netflix movie that shows what LA would be like if all of the Lord Of The Rings folklore evolved with humans. Excellent idea, but the central plotline and banal action sequences are too undistinguished from a typical buddy-cop movie. Bad Boys meets Harry Potter with an ugly annoying sidekick.
Best anime of all time! This was my second time watching this and it still packed the same epic sci-fi adrenaline rush that I remembered. Ingenious story, well developed characters, and unpredictable chaos. Not to mention some great bizarre artwork. Years ago, there was word of Christopher Nolan working on a live-action Americanized trilogy. Too bad it never happened.
Interesting performances; however, Mozart's legacy wasn't an interesting enough story to entertain me for 3 hours. The costume design and stage settings are elaborate, yet boring at the same time. It takes a while to get into the politics of classical composing, but once you you, the film becomes more enjoyable. The film's endless list of accolades are only justified by its stylish period piece structure, which people weren't use to back in 1984.
